Research group Trust@HsH at RSA conference 2014

From February 24th to 28th, 2014, research group Trust@HsH took part in the RSA conference in San Francisco

The RSA conference, which takes place annually since 1993 and attracts approximately 25,000 visitors, is one of the largest and most important IT security conferences worldwide. The largest producers of IT security display their solutions there and some of the most popular researchers, who work in the areas of IT security and cryptography, contribute to conference speeches and discussion panels.

In the scope of a seminar held by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) two members of the Trust@HsH research project, Bastian Hellmann und Ralf Steuerwald, presented a demonstration scenario composed of own software components as well as components by the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil, Switzerland, and the SIMU project partner DECOIT GmbH from Bremen. The demonstration showed the interaction of open source software from different producers in order to be able to react in real time on safety-critical incidents in a "Bring Your Own Device"-scenario. Current Trust@HsH work was discussed with other TCG members as well as IT security experts.
